Samples were taken from each mined round of a 110 foot drift advanced alongside the Sunshine Zone workings. The Sunshine Zone was last mined in 1926, with historic smelter records showing that 63,470 ounces of silver were recovered from the 2,558 tons mined from the zone. Each drilled and blasted round was approximately 10 feet high, 8 feet wide, and 6.6 feet deep.
This table shows the results from the Sunshine Zone samples, where the highest grade sample assayed at 2,597 grams per tonne, or 83.5 ounces per ton silver.

The single sample taken from the Big Dog Zone, where the majority of mining was conducted under the 1984 mining program conducted by previous owners, assayed 3,479 grams per tonne, or 112 ounces per ton silver.
Minor gold values were identified in the majority of the samples.
Graeme O'Neill, President & CEO, stated: "We are excited that the assay results received to date are continuing to confirm the historic recorded mined grades."
The company recently announced results from initial testing of the company's new KSS100, Transmissive X-Ray Ore-Sorter, which has a sorting capacity of up to 40 tons per hour. The equipment effectively selected mineralized material containing more than 2.5 ounces per ton silver, while rejecting up to 86% of the non-mineralized material along with mineralized material containing less than 2.5 ounces per ton silver. Using this equipment, Bayhorse will be producing two materials, a direct shipping grade of 3,000 grams per tonne silver or better, and a lower grade flotation grade material.
Bayhorse has undertaken to begin delivery in October of the higher grade, minimum 3,000 grams per tonne silver material to Minerals Solutions LLC of Hayden, Idaho. Mineral Solutions will concentrate, process, refine and sell the refined silver on behalf of Bayhorse, with Bayhorse retaining the option to take delivery of the refined silver.
Bayhorse is also earning a 75% interest in the past producing Bridging the Gap Project, in Idaho's Silver Valley.
The shares are trading at $0.23 and with 53.8 million shares outstanding, the company is capitalized at $12.4 million.
