VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA / TheNewswire / July 18, 2017 - Nevada Clean Magnesium, Inc. (TSXV: NVM; Frankfurt-M1V; OTC Pink Sheets: MLYFF) (the "Company") announces an update regarding the bench scale test furnace systems and the materials briquetting test work.

The bench scale pilot furnace operating system ("furnace") is nearing completion. This will be followed with a timed pressure hold and leak testing of all welds and joints. Upon a successful result, the furnace will be subjected to a vacuum leak test with pressures less than 10 Torr the expected operating pressure for the system.

The calcination system has been installed in order to convert the Tami - Mosi dolimite into dolime (CaO,MgO). The oxide form is necessary to produce magnesium metal crowns from the furnace. A briquette testing program has also been completed by the Company where various sizes and pressures were tested. This work has resulted in the specification of a suitable, efficiently sized prill for use in the reduction furnace.

This test work, including the furnace operation, is being performed at the Lindon Acres Enterprises facility in Fort St John, British Columbia. Upon the completion of the vacuum testing, the company has scheduled the reduction testing to begin mid-August after the the Company's AGM.

James Sever, P. Eng., COO states., "This testing program will provide necessary engineering data for fabrication and operation of the planned full size pilot furnace. One key area of assessment is the ability to recover energy from the spent furnace residue. Due to the unique design of the furnace, alternate heating and condensing concepts can be tested with the expectation of producing a continuous silicothermic process."
