CANONSBURG, PA, Aug. 8, 2018 /CNW/ - Corsa Coal Corp. (TSXV: CSO) ("Corsa" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders held earlier today (the "Meeting").
At the Meeting, the following eight nominees were re-appointed as directors of the Company (the "Board") to hold office until the close of the next annual meeting of the Company's shareholders: Robert C. Sturdivant, John H. Craig, Alan M. De'Ath, George G. Dethlefsen, Arthur Einav, Robert Scott, Ronald G. Stovash and Kai Xia. In addition, Urish Popeck & Co., LLC, Certified Public Accountants, were appointed as auditors of the Company and shareholders re-approved and ratified the Company's existing second amended and restated stock option plan, in accordance with the requirements of the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and passed a special resolution authorizing an amendment to the articles of continuance of the Company to allow the directors of the Company to appoint one or more directors up to a maximum of one third of the number directors elected at the previous annual meeting of shareholders to hold office for a term expiring not later than the close of the next annual meeting of shareholders. The amendment to the Company's articles of continuance was filed and made effective immediately following the adjournment of the Meeting.
