1,212 Metres of Core Drilled – Favourable Host Rock Intersected in All Holes

Vancouver, British Columbia / TheNewswire / November 16, 2017 – Gitennes Exploration Inc. (“Gitennes” or the “Company”) has successfully completed its first phase diamond drilling on its Snowbird High Grade Gold Project located in central BC. The programme consisted of ten NQ2 sized diamond drill holes totalling 1,212 metres. The Snowbird project is accessible year round via paved and dirt roads and sits at a relatively low elevation with moderate relief (not exceeding 190 metres). The ease of access to all parts of the property enables cost effective diamond drilling throughout the entire year.

High grade historical gold results at Snowbird are directly associated with listwanite, a carbonatized-silicified serpentinite. Listwanite is also associated with several multi-million ounce gold deposits in BC and the Motherlode District in California. Gitennes has intersected listwanite in all of the holes drilled in the current programme.

Gitennes is compiling the geological information from the drill programme and will provide a further update once a detailed examination has been completed.  The Company took 364 samples from 320 metres of core with an average sample length of 0.9 metres. In addition to the core samples 51 standards, blanks and duplicates were incorporated as part of the quality control / quality assurance procedure. All samples have been submitted to ALS Global of North Vancouver for precious and multi-element analysis.

The results of this programme will be used to plan the Company’s next phase of diamond drilling.

The Company is in the process of permitting the Phase II of diamond drilling and trenching programme for 2018.
