(IDEX Online) - A platinum ring set with a 9.70-ct fancy intense yellow diamond is among the highlights of Bonhams California Jewels auction.The emerald cut VS2 diamond (pictured) is flanked by tapered-baguette diamonds at either shoulder and has an estimate of $60,000 to $90,000.It will be offered for sale at a live auction next Tuesday (18 July) in Los Angeles.Other notable lots include a platinum Cartier ring set with a 3.89-ct a cut-cornered rectangular step-cut diamond (H / VS2) accented by tapered baguette emeralds ($40,000 to $80,000) and a white gold ring set with a 4.05-ct diamond (G / VVS2) accented with round diamonds at either shoulder (estimate $70,000 to $90,000)."The lots offered highlight craftsmanship from leading names in jewelry that will entice aficionados and collectors everywhere," said Emily Waterfall, director of the jewelry department at Bonhams in Los Angeles.
