ALROSA, the world's largest diamond mining company, is starting the forth auction this year for the sale of special size rough diamonds (over 10.8 carats) in Vladivostok. The auction will start on October 22, and the results will be announced on November 2.

The company is putting for sale 166 gem-quality rough diamonds with the total weight of 2,607 carats, including one fancy colored stone - 12.92-ct fancy light yellow diamond.

"We are starting this year's fourth auction in Vladivostok, where we have invited about 80 companies. The participants will see a good assortment, which is slightly increased compared to previous auctions held on the Far East site in 2018," Evgeny Agureev, the Member of the Executive committee, Director of the USO ALROSA, said. Companies from the largest centers of diamond trade are invited to participate in the auction, including Russia, Israel, Belgium, India, Hong Kong, UAE and the US.

ALROSA branch in Vladivostok was established in 2016 by the decision of the Company's Supervisory Board with the purpose of development of the Eurasian Diamond Centre in the territory of the Free Port of Vladivostok. The branch sold the first rough diamonds at the EDC in August-September of 2016
