Alan Cohen to Head London Exchange

RAPAPORT... The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) has appointed Alan Cohenpresident, succeeding Menachem Prager, it said Wednesday. "I believe [Alan] will be an effective advocate for the UK'sdiamond industry both at home and abroad," said chief operating officerVictoria McKay. "His natural gravitas along with his industry experience makehim a valuable asset." Cohen has been a member of the exchange since 1976, and has beenits vice president for the past two years. "I appreciate the hard work that others have done before mein the association, and I hope to be able to build on that to move LDB in adirection that benefits the diamond industry," Cohen said.
