Andrew Bone to Leave RJC

RAPAPORT... Andrew Bone will step down as executive director of theResponsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the organization said Tuesday. Bone has led the RJC since 2015, during which time the organization's membership doubled, the group noted. He previously had an extensive tenure at De Beers, during which he was actively involved in industry initiatives such as the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, the Diamond Development Initiative and the World Diamond Council.  "It has been a pleasure and a rare privilege to have servedthis unique organization as executive director," said Bone. "We have undertakenthe review of our standards and laid the ground for the inclusion of coloredgems and silver. In addition, we have grown the management team and providedthem with the resources to build on past success as we look ahead to a successfulfuture."
