Third-quarter earnings season continues full speed ahead next week, with big-cap companies like Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), DowDuPont Inc (NYSE:DWDP), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), and Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) expected to report. On the economic front, traders will keep an eye trained on the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) two-day policy-setting meeting -- though no interest rate hike is expected -- while looking ahead to Friday's highly anticipated release of the October jobs report.

The week kicks off on Monday, Oct. 30, with personal income and outlays data. Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI), Diamond Offshore Drilling (DO), First Data (FDC), Lowe's (L), Papa John's (PZZA), Rent-A-Center (RCII), Sony (SNE), and Texas Roadhouse (TXRH) will report earnings.
In addition to the FOMC meeting, Tuesday, Oct. 31, will bring the employment cost index (ECI), the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller home price index, the Chicago purchasing managers index (PMI), and the Conference Board's consumer confidence survey.
Pfizer (PFE), 3D Systems (DDD), Aetna (AET), AK Steel (AKS), BP (BP), Electronic Arts (EA), Kellogg (K), Lumber Liquidators (LL), MasterCard (MA), Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL), Shopify (SHOP), Sturm Ruger (RGR), Under Armour (UAA), and U.S. Steel (X) will step up to the earnings plate.
The Fed meeting concludes on Wednesday, Nov. 1, with the latest policy announcement scheduled for release at 2 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, data on motor vehicle sales, construction spending, the ADP's private-sector employment report, Markit's purchasing managers manufacturing index (PMI), the Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) manufacturing index, and the weekly crude inventories update will hit the Street.
Facebook (FB), Allergan (AGN), Allstate (ALL), Cheesecake Factory (CAKE), Clorox (CLX), Clovis Oncology (CLVS), Ctrip.com (CTRP), Estee Lauder (EL), FireEye (FEYE), Fitbit (FIT), Garmin (GRMN), GoPro (GPRO), Groupon (GRPN), Honda Motor (HMC), Kraft Heinz (KHC), Marathon Oil (MRO), Office Depot (ODP), Qualcomm (QCOM), Shake Shack (SHAK), SodaStream (SODA), Tesla (TSLA), Transocean (RIG), and Yelp (YELP) are scheduled to release quarterly earnings.
Weekly jobless claims will be released on Thursday, Nov. 2, along with productivity and labor costs. Traders will also hear from New York Fed President William Dudley and Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic.

The Labor Department's nonfarm payrolls report highlights a busy day on Friday, Nov. 3. Wall Street will also get a look at ISM's non-manufacturing index, international trade data, and factory orders, while Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari is set to speak. Potbelly (PBPB) and Ruth's Hospitality Group (RUTH) will report earnings.
