Australia to review anti-dumping measures on Thailand-origin rebar

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission (AADC) has started an accelerated review of anti-dumping measures imposed on rebar imported from Thailand.

The review into the tariffs - which were originally imposed in November 2017 and apply to rebar in diameters up to 50mm, regardless of grade, alloy content or coating - follows a request from Tata Steel Thailand subsidiaries Siam Construction Steel Co and NTS Steel Group. The rebar from Thailand is classified under the following...
