(IDEX Online) - A "once in a lifetime" collection of Harry Winston jewelry, with over 255 carats of diamonds and a $12m valuation, is being sold at auction. The Diamond Wreath Suite includes a custom-designed necklace, earrings, bracelet, and watch, all handmade in .950 platinum and bearing the HW and Harry Winston hallmarks.The pieces are being auctioned as a single lot by Kruse GWS Auctions, in Los Angeles, USA. Online bidding is now open, live bidding is on Saturday (24 June).The suite contains 255.77ctw VVS1-VS2/D-E diamonds in pear, marquise, and round brilliant cuts, and comes with a $12m replacement evaluation report."This is a once in a lifetime, heirloom piece that truly belongs in a museum," said the auction house."We are elated to offer these one-of-a-kind artistic works by the world-renown Harry Winston. Acquiring this set could build generational wealth," said Brigitte Kruse, lead auctioneer.The total diamond weight of the necklace is 124.76ctw. The bracelet is 55.86ctw.
