Bonhams Hires Jewelry Specialist in New York

RAPAPORT... Bonhams has appointed former Christie's executive LeslieRoskind as senior jewelry specialist to help build its presence in the US.  Roskind, who will be based at the company's New York office,has worked in the industry for more than 25 years, the auction house said lastweek. Most recently, she was responsible for the acquisition and sale of jewelsto private clients and at trade shows for Fred Leighton and Windsor Jewels.Prior to that, Roskind spent 17 years at Christie's in its New York, LosAngeles and Geneva offices. "[Leslie's] knowledge and passion for jewels will be a greatasset to the company as we continue to grow our sales program in the US," saidBrett O'Connor, senior international jewelry director and senior vice presidentof US operations for Bonhams.
