Brazil's silicon metal exports rise in April on higher deliveries to Europe

Brazil's silicon metal export volumes increased 75.6% year on year in April, mostly due to higher demand from Europe.

Exports totaled 17,681 tonnes during the month versus 10,067 tonnes in April 2017, according to figures released by Brazilian foreign trade ministry MDIC on Friday May 4. The total is also up slightly from the 17,237 tonnes of silicon metal exported in May...
