Seaborne coking coal prices retreated on Monday April 9 amid ample offers and an alleviation of concerns over the weather in Australia's coal-producing region.

A cargo of premium hard coking coal was traded at $191 per tonne fob Australia during the day, market sources told Metal Bulletin.
