Cobalt trades at sub-$20 per lb on oversupply pressure

Cobalt prices slumped to near two-year lows last week before stabilizing after a psychological move through $20 per lb incited an improved level of spot inquiries.

Fastmarkets' standard-grade cobalt price ended the week at $19-21.15 per lb, in-warehouse, compared with $19-21.40 per lb midweek.
