Codelco's copper production and earnings fell in the first nine months of 2018, the Chilean state-owned copper producer said.

Codelco produced 1.3 million tonnes of refined copper in the first nine months of the year, a drop of 2% from 1.32 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2017, it said.Including output from its stake in Anglo American Sur and El Abra, it produced 421,000 tonnes of refined copper in the third quarter, a year-on-year drop of 10.8% from 472,000 tonnes, the company said on Thursday November 29.
