Diamond Manager Feared Dead in Hamas Massacre

(IDEX Online) - Israeli authorities are expected to confirm that diamond boss Isaac (Itzik) Siton and his wife were among over 1,400 victims of the Hamas massacre on Saturday 7 October.Isaac, manager of the Grandview Klein factory, in Namibia, was on a family vacation at kibbutz of Be'eri, in southern Israel.More than 120 people were murdered there and more are feared to have been abducted and taken to Gaza.Isaac and his wife Chana were visiting son Tal and Chana's sister Pessy at the time. Tal and Pessy have been confirmed as being among the fatalities.Isaac, aged in his 70s, had worked for many years at the Grandview Klein factory, in Windhoek, and was looking forward to his retirement.Among the online tributes was this, from Iris Van der Veken, director at Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030: "No words for this loss!
