East Asian stainless steel prices decline again on weak demand

Stainless steel prices in East Asia continued to fall over the past week on soft demand.

Fastmarkets MB's import price assessment for 304 stainless 2mm trimmed cold-rolled coil in East Asia was $1,910-1,980 per tonne cif East Asia for the week ended Wednesday November 28, down $80 per tonne from $1,990-2,060 per tonne cif a week earlier.Fastmarkets MB's import price assessment for 304 stainless trimmed hot-rolled coil in the same region was $1,780-1,830 per tonne cif East Asia for the same period, down $70-110 per tonne from $1,850-1,940 per tonne week on week.The weakening of China's domestic steel...
