Forevermark Chief to Get Top AGS Honor

RAPAPORT... The American Gem Society (AGS) will honor three industryleaders at its Circle of Distinction dinner, it said last week. Stephen Lussier (pictured), CEO of De Beers' Forevermark brand, will receivethe Lifetime Achievement Award. Lussier has overall responsibility for De BeersDiamond Jewellers, and is also chairman of the Diamond Producers Association. The AGS will honor David Bouffard, vice president ofcorporate affairs at Signet Jewelers, with a Triple Zero Award. Bouffard overseesthe company's corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives. Terry Chandler, CEO of the Diamond Council of America since2001, will also receive a Triple Zero Award. The dinner will take place on July 17 at the Plaza hotel inNew York.
