GLOBAL ANTIMONY WRAP: European market weakens further amid sluggish demand; Chinese prices stable in quiet market

Antimony prices remained under pressure last week in both Europe and China, amid sluggish demand and increasing availability.

Metal Bulletin assessed the MMTA standard grade II antimony in-warehouse Rotterdam price at $8,450-8,550 per tonne on Friday April 6, unchanged from Wednesday's assessment, when prices moved down from $8,500-8,660 per tonne.The trioxide grade antimony price, in-warehouse Rotterdam was assessed at $8,500-8,600 per tonne on Friday, also unchanged from Wednesday, when prices had fallen from $8,500-8,750 per tonne."Prices keep moving down as traders are trying to get rid of the material before the market falls even further,"...
