Glencore Declares Force Majeure on Some Aluminum Contracts -Bloomberg

--Glencore has been forced to walk away from some aluminum contracts as a result of the U.S. sanctions against Russian company United Co. Rusal, reports Bloomberg, citing unknown sources.

--The declaration of force majeure applies to contracts for about 50,000 metric tons of metal of Russian origin, allowing Glencore to walk away from the deals, says Bloomberg.
