Glencore Q1 copper output up vs year ago but down 7% vs Q4

Glencore attributed a year-on-year increase in its first-quarter copper output to the strong performance of its African assets although production fell from the previous quarter due to the impact of smelter maintenance and mines nearing the end of their productive lives.
