Glencore continues to expect a slight increase in its ferro-chrome output this year after a small rise last year, it said in its full-year production report on Thursday February 1.
The company kept its production guidance for 2018 unchanged at 1,600,000 tonnes plus or minus 30,000 tonnes, it said. Its ferro-chrome production for 2017 at 1,531,000 tonnes was up 1% on the previous year's 1,523,000 tonnes.Attributable ferro-chrome production of 1,531,000 tonnes last year was in line with the 2016 total, Glencore said, based on its 79.5% share in the Glencore-Merafe Chrome Venture.Ferro-chrome prices remain...
