Live 24 hours gold chart [Kitco Inc.]

(Kitco News) - Gold pricess are trading solidly lower in late-morningdealings Monday. A daily rally in the U.S. dollar index has promptedprofit-taking pressure in the gold and silver markets, after both had scored4.5-month highs last week. A sell-off in the U.S. stock market is so far nothelping out the precious metals market bulls. However, such could limit thedownside in gold and silver as the session progresses, especially if thedeclines in equities intensify. Februarygold was last down $15.00 at$1,337.10.
