Influencer Launches Jewelry Awards

RAPAPORT... Ukrainian jewelry influencer Tatyana Pfaifer has launched an international competition for industry members, pledging to give $100,000 in prizes.The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards will honor excellence and artistry in the jewelry world on an annual basis, said Pfaifer, who runs the @Jewellery_Masterpiece Instagram and Facebook pages. She is inviting entries from jewelry artists, designers and professional writers in the industry.The competition is open to applicants from around the world, covering seven categories, with awards ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. The panel of judges includes jewelers, designers, auctioneers and journalists. In addition, eight entrants will receive publicity in the form of gallery appearances and media coverage.Submissions close on September 30, 2021, with the shortlist due to be announced on October 28 and the winners on November 18."The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards were born out of my respect for jewelry as art [and] the desire to inspire the enthusiasm of everyone involved in the jewelry world," Pfaifer commented.Image: Tatyana Pfaifer.
