JFC to Honor Signet and Cartier Execs at 2020 Facets of Hope

(IDEX Online) - Industry charity Jewelers for Children (JFC) will honor Virginia "Gina" Drosos, CEO of Signet Jewelers, Ltd. and Mercedes Abramo, president and CEO of Cartier North America at the 22nd edition of its annual Facets of Hope event in Las Vegas. 

Drosos was appointed Signet CEO in July 2017 and has served as a director of Signet's board

since 2012. She serves on the Board of Akron Children's Hospital and has long supported purpose-driven international organization Back2Back Ministries that cares for orphans and vulnerable children. 

Abramo was appointed president and CEO of Cartier North America in June 2014. She serves on the board of directors of Jewelers of America and the advisory board of the Luxury Education Foundation, a public not-for-profit organization that focuses on educational programs for undergraduate and graduate students in design and business. Abramo is a key advocate for the Cartier Women's Initiative, a global initiative designed to identify, support and encourage impact-driven businesses led and owned by women entrepreneurs.

Since it was founded in 1999, JFC has raised close to $57 million for programs benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect. 

The Facets of Hope event will be held at the Venetian Resort Casino on June 4.
