I was recently in LA (December 2018) and had the opportunity to speak again with Jocko Willink (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jocko_W...). We discussed the catastrophe of the Soviet/communist utopian experiment, with a terrible account read initially by Jocko, followed by a discussion of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago (for the 50th anniversary version of which I wrote a foreword (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJwEB...).
