It’s been an absolutely horrendous year to be invested in lithium stocks… For myself, although I did sell out of many positions in early January of this year and booked some nice profits, unfortunately, I did get a little too greedy and didn’t sell nearly enough…
Now, I’m paying the price (along with many others, I’m sure)…
It’s been a total bloodbath and massacre this year in lithium stocks, both of the ASX-listed and TSX-listed varieties.
See below…
Many industry leading juniors have been taken to the woodshed this year…
Nevertheless, I remain 1,000% convinced that the electric vehicle (EV) revolution is only now just getting started… and from a macro point-of-view, things have never looked better.
Seriously… I vehemently believe that the impending EV revolution is going to mirror the last major tech paradigm shift we saw…
Smartphones.
Remember this?
Just 10 years ago, almost nobody had a smartphone…
Look around you now…
Look how far we’ve come in just 10 years!
Change is slow at first… until it isn’t.
Further, for anyone feeling down in the dumps, perhaps you’ll take comfort in the following:
At least you don’t own rental properties out in South Shitcago.
So, cheer up!
Things could be (a lot) worse…
As for myself?
Luckily, I was able to eradicate myself from that hot mess earlier this year… Hopefully, the worst of that ordeal is forever behind me.
My buddy recently got out himself, and well, what can I say? He feels reborn and like the $1 billion man.
Life’s not easy… There are ALWAYS going to be ups and downs, highs and lows…
Just gotta find a way to keep enjoying it, regardless…
And if you can get yourself out a most horrendous situation, well thank your lucky stars, and be grateful for what you’ve got.
My buddy and I now have a newfound appreciation for life, after that Shitcago nightmare from hell…
Sure, mining stocks are shit right now, but my buddy and I are still gonna go out celebrating… often…
So, yeah, life’s just too short…
If mining stocks are really frustrating you beyond belief right now, it’s probably not a bad idea to turn off the monitor/phone, go outside, and take a nice walk/jog/hike.
Clear your mind.
Be grateful for what you got.
Stay optimistic and know that things will get better in time.
And Fight On!
