PERTH (miningweekly.com) – A 130 ct gem quality diamond has been recovered from the Lulo diamond project, in Angola, owner Lucapa Diamond Company reported on Thursday.

The new 130 ct stone adds to the current inventory of high-value large Special run-of-mine diamonds, which includes top colour white diamonds weighing 128 ct and 62 ct, as well as a number of fancy pink diamonds. The majority of this diamond inventory is scheduled for sale in the third quarter of this year, however, some diamonds might be extracted and held for a later tender, Lucapa said.
