Marvin the Miner and Blaster the Burro, the mascots of Colorado School of Mines, joined their friends on 9News Denver to celebrate College Friday on May 4.
Launched in 2006 by College in Colorado, College Friday celebrates the importance of higher education and encourages Colorado students to reach higher-whether they pursue a certificate, two-year or four-year degree. Coloradans are encouraged to wear apparel from their alma mater or favorite college to support students on their path to postsecondary success.
