Miners Should Not "Build It To Sell It" Says CEO

The goal of an exploration company is to take ownership of each project and not focus on selling assets to major miners, said Matthew Lennox-King, president and CEO of Contact Gold.
"The only way you can attract that attention [from the majors] is to continue to advance the project as if you're going to own it. That means doing the right science, metallurgy, resource estimation, whatever that might be. If you build it to sell it, I don't think you'll end up with the right answer at the end of the day," Lennox-King told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Swiss Mining Institute Conference in Zurich.
