New Online Jewelry Marketplace Opens

RAPAPORT... Markette Six has launched as a secure online platform for trading new and pre-owned jewelry, watches and gems. The website - founded by Justin and Heather Knapp (pictured) - iscurrently live for retailers and jewelers to begin listing items for sale, andwill open to the buying public in July. All products listed undergo an examination by a Markette Sixindependent graduate gemologist for authentication purposes, a company spokesperson said. Any items buyers return are reexamined to ensure they are still in the same condition in whichthey were bought. "We're introducing a simple and trustworthy solution tothose looking to sell and buy fine jewelry," Justin Knapp said recently. "Westrive to create a fair and transparent marketplace that mutually benefits bothbuyers and sellers, and that is easy to use, with no hidden fees." Markette Six operates in more than 20 countries, and sellerscan target buyers from specific international markets.
