Montreal-based Osisko Metals has released the maiden resource estimate for its Key Anacon and Gilmour South deposits, collectively the Eastern Bathurst Mining Camp (EBMC) project. The properties are located south of Bathurst.

With a 5.5% zinc equivalent cut-off, indicated resources in the Key Anacon Main and Titan zones total 2.0 million tonnes grading 5.77% zinc, 2.38% lead, 0.22% copper, and 68.90 g/t silver. About 85% of the tonnage is attributable to the Main zone. Contained metal is estimated to be 249.1 million lb. of zinc, 102.6 million lb. of lead, 9.3 million lb. of copper, and 4.3 oz. of silver.

At the same cut-off, and including the Main and Titan zones at Key Anacon and the Gilmour South deposit, the inferred resource is 3.9 million tonnes grading 5.34% zinc, 1.49% lead, 0.32% copper, and 47.70 g/t silver. The Gilmour South deposit contains about 60% of the tonnage. Contained metal in the inferred category is 453.0 million lb. of zinc, 126.4 million lb. of lead, 27.0 million lb. of copper, and 5.9 million oz. of silver.

These deposits are hosted within the Brunswick Horizon. The Key Anacon Main and Titan zones are separated by 1,500 metres, an area that has received only limited drilling. Both zones are open at depth and along strike. The Gilmour South deposit is about 27 km southwest of Key Anacon and 20 km from the former Brunswick No.12 and No.6 mines.
