The US Army Corps of Engineers confirmed in January that the Pebble permit application is complete, which drew a line under an acrimonious battle between the company and the US Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA previously claimed jurisdiction over the Pebble permit application and essentially gave a pre-emptive decision against it.
