Prize Mining finds more gold at Toughnut

Prize Mining (PRZ.V) has now received the final assay results from its 10 hole drill program at Toughnut, now a part of the Kena-Daylight gold project in British Columbia. According to the company, 'significant gold intercepts' were found in 9 of the 10 holes and newly-appointed CEO Michael McPhie (who you might remember from Curis Resources (CUV.TO) which was developing the Florence copper project in Arizona), Prize is very encouraged with these initial drill results as the drill bit encountered some narrow but relatively high-grade intervals (1.65 meters at almost 4 g/t gold, 3.26 meters at 2.65 g/t gold, 5.45 meters containing 2.95 g/t gold).

The exploration campaign at Toughnut has now been completed, and the assay results (and geological information) will now very likely be used by the company to design a 2018 exploration program. That being said, we're also keen to learn more about Prize's newly-acquired copper project in Mexico and we were told the technical report on the acquired property would be filed soon.
