Theoretically, there was "absolutely no shortage" of REEs in the ground, Gavin Mudd, associate professor of Environmental Engineering at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia, told Mining Journal in an interview ahead of his upcoming address at the Resources for Future Generations conference in Vancouver.
