Russia will restrict scrap exports from its Far East region by banning shipments from main ports from late July to January 2019, according to an order from the government.
From July 21, scrap exports will only be allowed through nine small ports in its Far East region. Shipments from Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Vanino, key ports for bulk cargo shipments from the region, will be forbidden. The order will be valid for 180 days up to late January 2019.
