SCMP: Central Banks Pile into Gold

LONDON, 16 January 2023 - Analysis from BullionVault features today in a report on the boom in central-bank gold buying from the South China Morning Post, now in print for 120 years and widely regarded as Hong Kong's newspaper of record.

"Gold purchases by China and Russia's central banks, and smaller moves by central banks elsewhere...suggest that the rise in gold prices so far may only be the tip of the iceberg," writes veteran SCMP economics and finance journalist Anthony Rowley, twice quoting BullionVault analysis of the situation.
