"Following continued polished diamond price stability in the lead up to the final sales cycle of the year, we saw further signs of steady demand for rough diamonds during Sight 10," said De Beers Group CEO Bruce Cleaver.

For 2019, Sight sales total $4.04 billion (provisional). In 2018, Sight sales for the full year totaled $5.39 billion.

The first Sight of 2020 will take place from January 20-24.
