The TSX Venture Exchange lost 3.10 points to 826.09 Friday, ending the week down 4.08 points. Vince Gasparro and Michael Galego have filed a final prospectus to list their second capital pool shell, Apolo II Acquisition Corp. This shell is now selling its $500,000 initial public offering at 10 cents through Richardson GMP Ltd. Mr. Gasparro and Mr. Galego have also filed a preliminary prospectus to list their third capital pool shell, Apolo III Acquisition Corp. This shell plans to sell its own $500,000 IPO at 10 cents through Haywood Securities Inc.

Mr. Gasparro, 38, worked for a year at the Office of the Prime Minister and then for another year at the Office of the Minister of Veterans Affairs in the early to mid-2000s. Then from 2006 to 2010, he worked at a private equity firm called Succession Capital Corp. This was followed by three years of running his own renewable energy investment fund called The Green Tomorrow Fund Inc. These days, Mr. Gasparro is showing his community spirit as a director of Toronto Community Housing Corp., the public housing agency of the City of Toronto.
