(IDEX Online) - Swarovski is to roll out its lab grown range of diamond jewelry across 200 stores in the USA and Canada.The launch of the Created Diamonds collection follows a successful pilot program, the company said.Earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets featuring diamonds 0.25-cts and larger will be available online from next month and in stores next year. The family-owned crystal and jewelry company, based in Austria, will offset the energy used to produce the diamonds and the process will be certified as climate neutral.CEO Alexis Nasard, the first non-family member to take charge of the company in its 127-year history, said: "Swarovski's created diamonds are 100 per cent real - they are identical to mined diamonds in every way except their origin."Pic courtesy Swarovski
