Tango Sells 42ct. Diamond for $476K

RAPAPORT... Tango Mining has sold a 42.26-carat diamond from its Oena projectin South Africa for $11,267 per carat, it said. The company - which recovered the stone earlier this month- sold it for $476,143 at a tender at the Kimberley Diamond Exchange. The miner also sold 125.87 carats of rough diamonds attender at an average price of $945 per carat. The sale included a 10.48-carat stone,fetching $2,374 per carat, and a 7.17-carat rough, which garnered $3,600 percarat.
