U.S. equity index futures were lower this morning. S&P 500 futures were down 2 points at 8:35 AM EST.
S&P 500 futures were unchanged following release of the November Durable Goods Orders Report at 8:30 AM EST. Consensus was a 4.5% increase versus a 2.2% drop in October. Actual was a 5.3% increase.
Gold advanced $104.10 to $5,092.66 per ounce. Silver advanced $6.46 to $109.71 per ounce.
U.S. global airlines ETF (JETS) dropped $0.32 to $28.56 in response to one of the largest winter snow storms to hit the U.S. in the past decade. Over 20,000 scheduled flights were cancelled.
