U.S. equity index futures were lower this morning. S&P 500 futures were down 9 points at 8:30 AM EDT. Index futures responded to failure by Congress to reach an agreement prior to October 1st to continue funding government operations.
Wolfspeed advanced $3.76 to $25.86 after emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
