U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning. S&P 500 futures were up 5 points at 8:35 AM EDT.
S&P 500 futures were unchanged following release of U.S. June Housing Starts at 8:30 AM EDT. Consensus was an increase to 1.300 million units from 1.256 million units in May. Actual was 1.321 million units.
Netflix dropped $22.17 to $1252.00 despite reporting second quarter results in line with consensus.
Jabil Circuit advanced $3.94 to $222.23 after announcing a $1 billion share buyback program.
Norfolk Southern added $10.19 to an all-time high at $280.00 on rumors that Union Pacific is planning a takeover offer of the company.
Interactive Brokers Group advanced $2.98 to $62.41 after reporting higher than consensus second quarter results.
