Turkey exported 336,840 tonnes of flat steel products in March 2018, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
This volume was down by 30.47% year-on-year from the 484,463 tonnes exported in March 2017, the institute said.The total exported included 223,581 tonnes of hot-rolled flat steel, down by 35.78% year-on-year from 348,171 tonnes in March 2017.Cold rolled flat steel made up 13,120 tonnes of the March exports, down by 55.96% year-on-year from 29,790 tonnes.Turkish coated flat steel exports totaled 74,027 tonnes in March, down by 19.16% from 91,573 tonnes in March 2017.Exports of uncoated flat steel material below 600mm in width came to 4,237 tonnes...
