UK Jewelry Exhibition Hires New Director

RAPAPORT... International Jewellery London (IJL) has appointed KatieMorris as its exhibition director. Morris has been working for Reed Exhibitions, the organizerof IJL, since 2010, beginning as head of marketing for the group's London BookFair. She became head of buyer programs for IJL in April. In that role, Morrisincreased international buyer presence at last year's show by 15%, the show organizers said Wednesday."Katie's contribution to IJL in the short time that she washead of buyer programs was very impressive, and I am delighted that the showwill now have the benefit of her experience and expertise as director of IJL,"said Stella Layton, non-executive chair of the IJL advisory board.
