SASKATCHEWAN - Vancouver-based NexGen Energy has concluded its 54-hole winter drilling campaign at the Arrow and Arrow South targets as well as a regional program. The targets form part of the Rook 1 uranium property in the Athabasca Basin.

Follow up drilling northwest of the Arrow deposit discovered new mineralization - the A0 shear - that returned 8.0 metres at 1.43% uranium oxide. New mineralization was also discovered 160 metres northwest of the A0 shear where hole AR-18-208c1 returned 10.5 metres of total composite mineralization, including 0.2 metre of off-scale radioactivity (>10,000 cps).

Step-out holes northeast of the A1 and A2 shears intersected significant mineralization, as well. Hole AR-18-189c4 cut 40.0 metres of mineralization, include 3.9 metres of off-scale radioactivity. Holes -196c1 and -200c2 intersected 28.5 metres of mineralization including 5.3 metres of off-scale radioactivity and 36.0 metres of mineralization including 5.1 metres of off-scale radioactivity, respectively. .

NexGen believes the Arrow deposit remains open in most directions and looks forward to future high grade discoveries nearby. A prefeasibility study is underway, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018.
