SASKATCHEWAN - Fission Uranium of Kelowna, B.C., has received the assays from the winter 2019 drill program at the Patterson Lake South property in the southwest rim of the Athabasca Basin. The company says the results confirm the potential to expand the high grade uranium resources at the Triple R deposit - and associated gold mineralization.

Three holes were drilled outside the limits of the high grade area of the Triple R deposit. All three returned high grade intervals of uranium - and gold - which were not previously accounted for.

Hole PLS19-PW-09 (line 735E) cut 41.0 metres of total composite uranium mineralization, including intervals such as 5.0 metres at 22.88% uranium oxide and in 38.0 metres at 3.52%. The shorter interval also tested 2.85 g/t gold.

The two other holes also cut notable gold mineralization associated with the uranium interval. Hole PLS19-PW-10 returned a peak of 23.60 g/t gold over 0.5 metre, highlighting the potential to increase the Triple R's existing gold resource. The hole also returned 19.0 metres at 4.77% uranium oxide and 2.12 g/t gold. Hole PLS19-PW-08 returned an intersection of 25.0 metres at 0.52% U3O8 and 1.04 g/t gold and 14.5 metres of 1.05% U3O8 and 0.06 g/t gold.

Detailed results from recent holes at PLS are posted in the news release dated Aug. 14, 2019, available at www.FissionUranium.com.
