Vietnam's HRC prices dip further on sustained thin demand

Import prices for re-rolling-grade hot-rolled coil in Vietnam dipped further over the past week on persistently thin demand among re-rollers.

The Fastmarkets MB weekly import price assessment for HRC in Southeast Asia - which mainly looks at Chinese 2-3mm SAE1006 HRC and equivalent grades sold into Vietnam - was $560-565 per tonne cfr for the week ending Monday October 22, down $5-10 per tonne from $565-575 per tonne in the previous week.Russian HRC was offered at $560-565 per tonne cfr Vietnam over the week, compared with $567-568 per tonne cfr Vietnam a week earlier.These compare against bids of $555-560 per tonne...
